Maharashtra: Dawood's Properties Auctioned, SC Lawyer Becomes Highest Bidder
On November 10, six of Dawood Ibrahim's properties were auctioned under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act, 1976. The properties in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri were sold for a total price of Rs 22,79,000. Out of six, four were bought by a Supreme Court lawyer Bhupendra Bharadwaj, and the rest by another lawyer Ajay Srivastava. The highest price paid in the digital bidding was Rs 11 lakh for a single property.
