Maharashtra Did Not Hide COVID-19 Cases: CM Uddhav Thackeray to PM

Maharshtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, during the video conference with PM Narendra Modi on August 11, said that the state had maintained complete transparency by not hiding any COVID-19 case or death. He further told Maharashtra has "increased testing and is using antigen kits as well". PM Modi asked the CMs of ten worst-affected COVID-19 states to reduce the death rate to 1% by focusing on containment and contact-tracing.
