Maharashtra: Man Slits Own Neck As Part Of Aghori Practice
A fisherman, identified as Nandu Ghungase, slit his own neck at a temple in Maharashtra on December 11 in order to offer his blood to 'Shivling'. The 25-year-old belonged to kharwad village and was found dead in the Mahadev Temple in Paithan town. Four people witnessed the act and one of them later told police about it. The police suspected that the act was a part of an Aghori practice.
