Maharashtra Resident Doctors Calls Indefinite Strike Against Govt

To force the Maharashtra government to fulfill their demand, the Maharashtra State Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) started an indefinite strike in the state on October 1. The association wants the academic fee should be waived off and hostel conditions should be made more comfortable. ''TDS Shouldn't be deducted from the stipend of resident doctors of BMC,'' said a MARD member. Reportedly, the strike will only end after written assurance.
