Major Reshuffle In Effect To Bring Transparency: Delhi Police Commissioner

Delhi Police Department been through major re-shuffling on September 25 under Rakesh Asthana and gets a nod from Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal. The department was previously headed by three Special Commissioners, now reduced to two after CP Sanjay Singh being shunted out to licensing. Besides, several officers have been transferred department-wise and district-wise. According to Asthana, this move is expected to bring transparency and accountability to the system.
