Malaysian Researchers Make Drone Parts From Pineapple Leaves
Malaysian researchers at Putra University have developed a material from pineapple leaves fibre that can be used to build drones or unmanned aircraft. Porject head Prof. Thariq said these drones have higher strength-to-weight-ratio and are cheaper, eco-friendly and easy to dispose. Reportedly, the prototypes of these eco-friendly drones stayed in air for 20 minutes and could fly up to a height of about 1,000 metres.
