Mamata Banerjee Sworn In As West Bengal CM For 3rd Consecutive Term
Two-time West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on May 5 took the oath for the post for her third consecutive term. The low-key event was held at the Raj Bhavan in Kolkata, and Mamata was sworn in as the CM by Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar. The Trinamool Congress supremo took the oath in 'Bengali'. The TMC registered a huge victory by winning 213 of the total 294 West Bengal Assembly seats.
