Massive Fire In Pharma Unit Kills 6, Leaves 18 Injured: Andhra Pradesh

In Andhra Pradesh's Eluru district, a massive fire broke out at Akkireddygudem Porous Chemical Factory, killing six workers and leaving18 severely injured. As per sources, Eluru DC V Prasanna Venkatesh assured an investigation into the matter. CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also expressed grief and announced Rs 25 lakh to the deceased, Rs 5 lakh, and Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia for seriously and minorly injured victims, respectively.
