Medical Council of India Introduces Pandemic Management Module in MBBS

The Medical Council of India (MCI) on August 28 decided to introduce a Pandemic Management Module in the MBBS course to prepare doctors to tackle challenges posed by pandemics like COVID-19. The module will educate medical students on infection control, disease management, epidemic management, research, communication, intensive care, and palliative care in times of a pandemic. It aims to make medical graduates as "doctors, leaders, and healers".
