Meet Harpreet Who Becomes 1st 'Woman Of Colour' To Reach South Pole

Harpreet Chandi, an Indian Origin British Army captain, has become the first 'woman of colour' to complete a solo expedition in Antarctica. Reportedly, she travelled 700 miles in 40 days to reach the South Pole. ''I knew nothing about the polar world three years ago and it feels so surreal to finally be here,'' wrote Chanid on Instagram. Meanwhile, British Army also congratulated Chandi on her feat on Twitter.
