Meghalaya Govt allows opening of religious places for wedding ceremonies

The Meghalaya government has decided to open religious places for wedding ceremonies following requests from the leaders of religious organisations, as per Deputy CM Prestone Tynsong. However, for regular visits, places of worship will remain closed until further notice. For weddings, special permission of the respective deputy commissioners will be required and the number of guests should not exceed 50.
