Microsoft Edge Browser Gets New Kids Mode
Microsoft has introduced a Kids Mode in its Edge browser to facilitate safe internet browsing for children between 5-12 years. While the feature is currently available for Edge Insiders in Microsoft’s Canary and Development testing channels, a mass rollout will transpire after successful primary testing. Without requiring a child account, the kids mode renders custom browser themes, child-friendly content, Bing SafeSearch, parent-controlled website allow list, and strict tracking prevention.
