Microsoft Lays Off Employees Of MSN Online News Portal; Switched to AI

Microsoft on July 16 announced to trim down its workforce as they enter the new fiscal year. The officials say it is very common at the end of each fiscal year. The company reduces the roles on its online news portal, which has now switched to AI-powered algorithm feeds. Jobs have also been cut in other divisions including Microsoft Azure cloud computing services.
