Microsoft Shuts Its Retail Stores Permanently

Microsoft has announced that it will shut most of its retail stores permanently. Only a handful of its stores will operate and be renamed as ÔÇ£Microsoft Experience CentersÔÇØ. These stores will lack purchasing options but users will be able to interact and check the products. Though the COVID-19 pandemic has a role in this shutdown, this move was long due.
