Mild Earthquake Rattles Uttarakhand's Chamoli, No Casualties Reported

The Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district along with adjacent areas faced a minor earthquake on May 24 at 12:01AM. The district administration informed that measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, the epicenter was reported to be near Joshimath at depth of 22 kilometers. Luckily, no damages or casualties were reported so far, said the District Disaster Management office. Nearby areas including Kedarnath, Uttarkashi, Srinagar, Garhwal, Pauri and Tehri also felt tremors.
