Mildly Affected COVID-19 Patients Can Sustain Brain Damage, Warn UK Scientists

Mildly affected or recovering patients of COVID-19 can show signs of brain damage and disorder, neurologists in UK have warned. They published findings of more than forty COVID-19 patients with brain and nerve complications. 5% of cases, with brain damage could be fatal. “It’s a concern if some hidden epidemic could occur after COVID but it’s far too early for us to judge,” said Michael Zandi, the study’s author.
