Milk At Rs 100/Litre In Haryana As Protest Against Rising Fuel Prices
As a protest against rising fuel prices and farm laws, the Khap Panchayats in Haryana increased the milk prices to Rs 100 per litre. "We have decided to give milk at Rs 100/litre. We urge dairy farmers to sell milk at the same price to government cooperative societies," said a Panchayat spokesperson. However, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had earlier clarified that the prices have soared due to low production internationally.
