Minneapolis City Grants $27 Mn Compensation To George Floyd's Family

George Floyd's family will receive a compensation of $ 27 million by Minneapolis city as a part of a legal settlement. Floyd, whose death sparked global protests, was killed by police officer Derek Chauvin who knelt on the former's neck. Besides, Floyd's family attorney Benjamin Crump expressed his concerns towards those who consider such incidents as unimportant or unworthy. Meanwhile, Floyd's family welcomed this move and lauded the justice system.
