Mob Thrash Mentally-Challenged Man Mistaking Him For Child Abductor: Chhattisgarh

In Chhattisgarh’s Durg, a mentally-challenged man who was mistaken for a child abductor, got thrashed by a mob, on October 7, informed Assistant Superintendent of Police. The police have reportedly rescued him and provided him with adequate treatment. Furthermore, the police using CCTV footage, have filed FIRs against unidentified persons, and the arrested will reportedly be made soon. Further details on the matter are awaited.
