Monkeypox: France, Germany & Belgium Report First Cases, Spain Reports 21 Cases
Monkeypox has been detected in France, Belgium and Germany, on May 20. France has reported its first case, whereas Belgium reported two cases in two different cities. Recently, Canada, US, Australia, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Sweden reported their first cases of the Monkeypox virus. Spain's active Monkeypox caseload stands at 21. Monkeypox is a virus transmitted to humans from animals, and its symptoms are very similar to that of Smallpox.
