Monsoons Hit India Almost Two Weeks Early

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) released a statement today (June 26) that the Southwest Monsoons have covered entire India nearly 12 days ahead of its schedule. Usually, it takes 45 days for rains to reach from Kerala to West Rajasthan. However with remaining parts of Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab receiving rainfall today, IMD has predicted that monsoons will reach Sriganganagar, the last location, by 8th of July.
