More Than 4 Crore Workers List Themselves On e-Shram Portal

The government's newly launched e-shram portal received an overwhelming response in India as over 4 crore workers from fields such as construction, fishing, street vending, agriculture, etc have registered in two months. Ministry of Labour and Employment mentioned most registrations are from  Odisha, West Bengal, Odisha, UP. Reportedly, the registered people will receive benefits from employment-related schemes. Of the total registers, 50.02% are female and 49.98% are male.
