Most Road Accidents Happen Due To Use Of Mobile While Driving: Survey
Around 97% of drivers opine that distraction by mobile phones while driving is the major cause of the road accidents, revealed Ford India's survey 'Cartesy 2.0'. The survey sampling 1,561 participants nationwide also mentioned aggressive driving and lack of education as other reasons behind road accidents. Terming training practices "inadequate", driver licensing expert Anil Chikkara said, "there is a need to start this education about rules of the road and traffic from beginning".
