A mother and her daughter set themselves on fire in front of Lok-Bhavan (CM office) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh over inaction of police at Amethi District. The women alleged that they were being threatened and intimidated by neighbours over a drain dispute in their village and even after lodging an FIR there was no action taken. "Two cops have been suspended and inquiry has been ordered" said SP, Amethi.
