Mouthwashes Are Effective in Killing Coronavirus, Cardiff University Study Reveals

According to a study at Cardiff University, mouthwashes are potential cure for killing coronavirus even among those who have contracted the virus. The research found that mouthwash containing 0.07 % of cetyl Pyridinium chloride (CPC) was effective in reducing SARS-Cov-2 in 30 seconds. While the efficiency of ‘over-the-counter’ mouthwash is still to be tested, currently scientists are planning only to test the UK brand 'Dentyl' mouthwash in labs.
