Mumbai Might Develop Herd Immunity by Dec-Jan: TIFR report

In TIFR projections to BMC, Mumbai may develop herd immunity in 75% of slum areas and 50% of non-slum areas by December-January. Report also warned about the second wave of hospitalizations and deaths if total unlock comes before November. However, the model does not account the concern of reinfections that have been witnessed around the world. Reportedly, TIFR and BMC partnered to conduct 3 ward sero-surveys in the city.
