Music Accessories Firm boAt Receives $100 Mn From Warburg Pincus
Delhi-based music accessories maker boAt has received $100 million funding from an American firm Warburg Pincus. The audio devices company plans to invest the newly collected money into the expansion of its research and production abilities, localise its production and broaden the brand portfolio. Founded in 2016, boAt began with the sale of smartphone cables and chargers. boAt co-founder termed the investment as great news to the entire direct-to-consumer sector.
