Nagorno-Karabakh Region Still Critical; Azerbaijan and Armenia Reject Peace Talks
Azerbaijan and Armenia, who are fighting for the contentious Nagorno-Karabakh region, turned down offers for peace talks from Russia and France. Reportedly, French President Macron and Russia's Putin offered to host peace talks and urged to de-escalate tensions in the disputed region. However, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev stated that his troops would continue fighting till Armenia leaves Karabakh. Reportedly, the official death toll has crossed 100, owing to continuous shelling.
