Nana Patole Officially Takes Charge As Maharashtra Congress Chief
Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee has finally appointed Nana Patole as new party chief on February 12. The 57-year-old four-term MLA from Maharashtra’s Bandara has replaced the outgoing party president Balasaheb Thorat. Before stepping down, Balasaheb, who currently holds Revenue portfolio of Maharashtra cabinet, served the party’s state unit chieftainship for 18 months. Besides, picking 10 vice presidents, the party also selected four ex-ministers and two young MLAs as the new working presidents of MPCC.
