NASA To Disclose Landing Locations For Astronauts On Moon's South Pole As Part Of Artemis III Mission
NASA will hold a briefing on August 19 to disclose the places near lunar South Pole that the agency has identified as prospective landing sites for astronauts as part of the Artemis III mission. Each of the chosen locations, from which specific landing sites may be chosen, is scientifically interesting. Artemis-III mission is scheduled to launch with astronauts in 2025, capping a five-decade delay since the Apollo missions were retired.
