NASA Hubble Space Telescope Identifies Gravitationally Lensed Galaxy & Its Mirror Image
NASA's Hubble Space Telescope identified a mirrored galaxy in space. According to NASA, gravitational lensing occurs when the mass of a big astronomical structure, such as a galaxy cluster, disrupts spacetime and bends the path of light from distant objects as it travels around it, as if through a lens. This is the first time that photos of galaxies acquired with Hubble Telescope have been able to distinguish details inside lensed images.
