NASA & ISRO Conclude NISAR Project's Payload Integration
NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) mission's payload integration has been finished in the United States and will be delivered to India following testing for integration with the satellite and launch vehicle. NISAR is a collaborative ISRO-NASA Earth-observation project that will cover the whole landmass, including polar cryosphere and Indian Ocean area. It's a dual-band (L-band and S-band) radar imaging mission that can operate in both polarimetric and interferometric modes.
