NASA Renames Washington Headquarters After Its First Black Female Engineer

Nasa is set to rename its Washington headquarters after Mary Jackson, its first black female engineer, as announced on June 24. The building is located on ÔÇ£Hidden Figures Way,ÔÇØ which is named after a movie based on MaryÔÇÖs life. ÔÇ£Mary W. Jackson was a part of a gaggle of vital women who helped NASA achieve getting American astronauts into space," Nasa administrator Jim Bridenstine said during a statement.
