NCERT To Convert Study Materials Into Indian Sign Language
To make studies more accessible for hearing-impaired children, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) on October 6 has decided to convert all its study materials into Indian Sign Language. For this, NCERT has joined hands with Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLRTC). "It will be a useful and much-needed resource for teachers, teacher educators, parents and the hearing-impaired community," said Union Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot.
