NCTE Creates Online Platform To Facilitate Recognition Of Teacher Education Programs

Ministry of Education's National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) initiated an online portal to streamline the process of recognizing teacher education programs of higher education institutions and teacher education institutions, from inviting applications for courses to issuing recognition orders. The portal's goal is to create an automated, comprehensive structure that improves accountability, and transparency in conducting business. It is projected to cause a fundamental change in the way NCTE operates.
