Nepal PM Oli Losses Vote Of Confidence; New Govt To Be Formed Within Week
With 124 votes against him, Nepal PM KP Oli was denied the vote of confidence in Parliament on May 10. While 15 members did not participate in the voting, 93 out of the 232 present voted 'Ayes' for Oli's government. Alleged of failing to tackle the COVID pandemic, Oli will render his resignation to President Bidhya Devi Bhandari. Interestingly, dissident members of ruling party, defying the whip abstained voting.
