Nepal Shaken By Magnitude 5.5 Earthquake, Tremors Reported In Regions Of Bihar, West Bengal
A magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck Nepal, causing vibrations to be felt as far away as Bihar, India on July 31. According to India's National Center for Seismology, the earthquake struck at 07:58 a.m. (IST) around 147 kilometers east of Kathmandu at a depth of 10 kilometers. The tremor jolted a number of cities in Bihar, Sikkim and the West Bengal.
