No salary for new employees without CID verification says J&K government

New Employees Without CID Clearance Can Not Receive Salaries: J&K Govt

In a recent circular issued by the J&K government, CID verification of new employees has been made mandatory for receiving the salary. Reportedly, the details include social media information of the employee along with the names and contact details of the supervisor. Moreover, the circular asked officers to hold off payment of salaries until the employee is verified. The details should be sent through government e-mail to avoid cybersecurity breaches.
