New Fungal Infection Found In Covid-Recovered Patients: Pune
Following mucormycosis (black-fungus), four Covid-recovered patients in Pune have been diagnosed with another fungal infection in the last three months, raising worries within the medical community. Long-term corticosteroid usage may raise the risk of infections, says Parikshit Prayag, the infectious diseases expert.
