New Zealand Journalist Presents Primetime News With Chin Tattoo

Oriini Kaipara, 37, became the first person to present primetime news at 6 pm on Three with a chin tattoo in New Zealand. Reportedly, the chin tattoo is a tradition of the Maori community and they are reported to be 17% of New Zealand's population. ''It's really exciting...I'm not speechless, but it's a buzz,'' said Kaipara. She had made her anchoring debut on TV in 2019 on TVNZ.
