New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern Starts Election Campaign; Promises To Honour Maoris
New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern began her election campaign on September 7, after the dissolution of Parliament. She promised to honour the Maoris, if re-elected for another term as people across the country want it to be a holiday. However, the opposition ACT party claimed irrelevant during current situation and commented that she is “not fit to govern”. The elections delayed due to Covid-19, and will take place on October 17.
