New Zealanders Stand United for 'Euthanasia'; Divided On 'Recreational-Marijuana' Use
People of New Zealand have, in huge majority, favoured legalizing euthanasia while opinions are still divided on use of ‘recreational marijuana’. Both the proposals had gone for a binding referendum and the special votes are yet to be counted. Supporting euthanasia, a lawmaker said it will help people attain a dignified death. Those against marijuana argued that, if legalized, it could be a cause for mental-health problems and accidents.
