NGO Rescues 61 Child Bonded Labours From Delhi-based Factories
In a raid at two factories in Delhi’s Narela region, the Rescue Foundation with the help of local authorities freed 61 child labours including 13 girls. Aged between 12-17 years, the children were trafficked from Bihar and employed as bonded labourers in a footwear and geyser manufacturing firm. Moreover, they were forced to work at the factory for Rs 100-150/day. Reportedly, police have filed a case against the owners and sealed the units.
