NGOs, Students, Political Parties To Protest Amid Syllabus Row: Karnataka

Amid the syllabus row in Karnataka, several organizations including NGOs, political parties, writers, and women's groups called for a protest against BJP on May 31, at Bengaluru Freedom Park. Notably, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the Education department dropped chapters like Bhagat Singh, Tipu Sultan, and other freedom fighters from class-10 textbooks. Meanwhile, BJP called it false propaganda amid Hijab-Row. Moreover, experts suggested that the protest will disturb the educational environment.
