NIA Court Sentences Kanakamala Case Accused To Imprisonment
A National Investigation Agency (NIA) Court, Kochi has sentenced those accused in the Kanakamala case to imprisonment, on April 22. The accused persons have been found guilty under certain sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), over their ties to ISIS. The accused- Rashid, NK Safwan, Ramshad, Mansidh Muhammad, and Salih Muhammad have been sentenced to seven, eight, three, fourteen, and ten years of imprisonment, respectively.
