No Trust Vote Against Imran Khan Rejected, Pak Elections In 3 Months
In a relief to Pakistan PM Imran Khan, the 'no-trust-vote' against him has been rejected by Deputy Assembly Speaker Qasim Suri, saying it is against the constitution, on April 3. Khan, whose government is facing a political crisis, demanded fresh elections in Pakistan, saying, "The conspiracy to take down this government has collapsed". In addition, the Speaker dissolved the Assembly and announced fresh polls in 90 days in Pakistan.
