Odisha Govt Announces 4G Internet Connection In 2,800 Villages

The Odisha Government announced 4G-Internet connectivity for nearly 2,800 villages soon. According to the official announcement on July 31, a total of 2,792 villages will be brought under the 4G network of the country as part of the Centre's digital inclusion policy worth Rs 26.316 crores, including 465 villages in the Kandhamal district, approved by Union Cabinet. Furthermore, BSNL will be the executor, whereas Universal Service Obligation Fund will be the investor.
