Odisha to Revive Tourism by Offering River Cruises

In order to boost tourism, Odisha Chief Secretary has directed the Department of Tourism to start river cruises within the state. Addressing a meeting, he said, "River cruising itself is compatible with Covid-19 restrictions. There is a huge scope and latent market for world Class River cruising in Odisha." Further, the secretary of tourism proposed three river cruise circuits - Mahanadi, Chilika lake, and Dangmala reserve forest.
