Officer, 2 jawans martyred in violent face-off with Chinese Army at Galwan Valley: Indian Army

The Indian Army on June 16 said that during the de-escalation process in Ladakh's Galwan Valley, a violent face-off took place between Indian and Chinese armies. The Indian Army added, "The loss of lives on Indian side includes an officer and 2 soldiers. Senior military officials of the two sides are currently meeting at the venue to defuse the situation."
