Oldest Vaccine for Tuberculosis Reduce the Risk of Contracting COVID-19
As per a new study, Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) - the oldest vaccine for Tuberculosis - is likely to reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19. The researchers have tested the blood of more than 6,000 healthcare workers for the antibodies against SARS-CoV-2. In which, 30% of the workers, who have received BCG vaccinations in the past, were likely to test negative for the virus. However, the reason is still ambiguous.
